My client is looking for an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to work at a local reputable Accountancy firm based in Ulverston who thrive on being Professional and Confidential.

The duties will include:

- Front of House
- Ensure payroll is delivered on an accurate and timely basis, including weekly/monthly payrolls, RTI returns and CIS returns
- Assist in production of management accounts and/or VAT returns on Sage Line 50 and/or Quickbooks
- Ensure the tasks set are completed accurately, timely and efficiently
- AAT part qualified or qualified preferred
- Experience of payroll work
- Must be PC proficient. Experience with Sage Accounts/Payroll, QuickBooks and Iris software a plus. Must have ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word. Good verbal/ written communication, inter-personal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work as an effective team member
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.

They are looking for someone who has an outgoing personality, who is enthusiastic and can adapt to a very busy and fast paced environment. It is a good training opportunity for someone who is looking for a long-term career and is eager to progress within the Company up the ranks to eventually become a Qualified Accountant. Alongside the great training being provided in this role, they do offer a very generous salary package which will get reviewed on a regular basis.
