We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to become a Trainee Recovery Worker as part of our Integrated Mental Health and Substance Misuse Service at HMP Dovegate. The team is innovative, forward thinking and committed to a Recovery focused approach that meets people's needs. You will be part of a supportive team with effective management, supervision and guidance.

Working with people who have complex offending backgrounds, substance misuse and mental health needs within prison is both challenging and rewarding. This is a fantastic chance to make a positive difference to the lives of people who are often disadvantaged and vulnerable.

This role offers a unique chance to make a difference in the lives of our service users while receiving excellent training and career progression opportunities. You will be provided with excellent training over 2 years and once you have successfully completed this you will then progress to a Band 5 Recovery Worker.

You will be involved in providing psychosocial substance misuse interventions and your responsibilities will include completing assessments, facilitating group work, and establishing strong relationships with community services to ensure continuity of care upon release.

Inclusion, created in 2002 is part of the Specialist Services Care Group of Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT). We provide caring and effective services across England, including, West Yorkshire, West Midlands, East Midlands, West Mercia, Thames Valley, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Thurrock, Essex. We support individuals, families and communities who are affected by addiction, crime, mental health or need treatment for their sexual health.
