Our client, a busy Used Car Sales & Independent Garage is looking for a Workshop Controller to Join their expanding workforce.

Our Client is well known in the automotive industry, they have been proving a high quality customer focused service for over 25 years, sourcing prestige and family vehicles for sale. They have a reputation for ensuring the business have the latest technology available to them, to ensure they are continually performing to the best of their ability.

They are currently undertaking a period of expansion, with capacity for an additional 350 vehicles added to their stock. Our client is requiring a process driven workshop controller to take over some responsibilities from the current Service Manager.

**Duties of a Workshop Controller with our Client**
- Managing a team of 6 workshop staff
- Undertaking Vehicle Diagnostics, so a Workshop Technician background would be ideal
- Installing workshop processes to ensure maximum workshop efficiency.
- Service and repair vehicles to a high standard
- Communicating with the Service Reception team and Sales team about additional work necessary
- Assisting with the scheduling of work to meet customer needs, taking into account the complexity of each job and the availability of parts.
- Ensure quality inspection controls are carried out.
- Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge
- Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.

**What our client expects of their Workshop Controller**
- Ideally previous within Workshop Control
- Technical background as a vehicle technician
- Strong Vehicle Diagnostics Skills
- Great Leadership Skills
- Experience within a high volume of PDIs.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Quality awareness and attention to detail
- Customer awareness
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Full driving license
