Experienced Groundworker

**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a professional Civil & Groundworks Engineer. to join the team here at Go-Fix.

Go-Fix Mechanical & Drainage Services are one of the capitals leading providers of drainage, vacuum tanker & other various services for a broad range of clients throughout Central London and the surrounding counties. Due to our ever-growing client base, we now require further skilled engineers to join our team, you will be required to provide services for both domestic & commercial clients.

**Responsibilities**
- Attending reactive callouts related to belowground drainage issues
- Carrying out excavations, minor & major repairs to below ground drainage & services
- Replacing drainage pipework belowground
- Installing new drainage pipework belowground
- Replacing cold water mains pipework belowground
- Carrying out high pressure water jetting using the latest modern equipment
- Reinstating pathways, private roads using concrete & tarmac etc
- Confined space entry works
- Drain excavation & repair
- Concrete repairs & installation of new pump stations
- Drain re-lining (experience preferred but not essential)
- Directing vacuum tankers onsite
- Communicating effectively with clients and reporting to the Helpdesk Manager & team daily
- Weekly callout rota and overtime will apply

**Experience/Requirements**
- At least 5 years’ experience in civils, ground works & drainage
- Great time keeping & punctuality is a necessity
- Hold a full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
- Have a can-do approach & problem solve attitude
- Demonstrate technical knowledge & competency with regards to all aspects of drainage groundworks & civils
- Able to resolve & approach problems logically
- Show commitment & enthusiasm for the task in hand
- Being a team player is essential
- Taking pride in what you do & portray the correct image of the company
- NVQ in groundworks desirable but not essential
- Must currently be confined space or NRSWA qualified
- Hold current machine tickets
- Must hold current Street works qualifications
- First aid training desirable but not essential
- Hold a full UK driving license
- A valid CSCS card is essential

**Experience**:

- Civils and Groundwork: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving License with no more than 6 Points (preferred)
