Finance Business Partner

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Financial Analysis and Reporting**:
- Provide accurate and timely financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
- Analyse variances and identify key drivers of financial performance.
2. **Business Partnering**:
- Liaise continuously with key commercial, operational and finance staff across the business ensuring that data and information are being interpreted and challenged in a timely fashion.
- Collaborate with senior managers to develop and track departmental budgets and KPIs.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing financial insights to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
3. **Performance Management**:
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance against targets and benchmarks.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and revenue enhancement.
- Develop and implement financial models and tools to support decision-making.
4. **Risk Management**:
- Assess financial risks and opportunities, and recommend mitigation strategies.
5. **Continuous Improvement**:
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and systems.
Provide commercial insight into the financial performance of the business. Working closely with both the commercial team and operations team; this role is critical to ensuring a clear understanding of business performance and profitability.
**Person Specification**:
- Fully qualified, or part qualified from one of the recognised Accountancy Bodies.
- Excellent financial modelling and data analysis skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial software systems.
- Natural curiosity, with an interest in the workings of a manufacturing business.
- A people person, keen to communicate financial data and concepts to non-financial personnel in order to drive profitability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present information and issues in a clear and concise manner with the goal of driving to a decision.
- Strong commercial and business acumen.
- Ambitious, self-motivated and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry or related sectors is a plus.
- You will have the drive and determination to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced business.
- You will be a self-starter, with a track record of delivering improvements.
