This Tax Assistant role will have a broad portfolio of clients, where you will complete tax returns without supervision. You should know about personal tax, IHT and CGT. The firm is developing its taxation offering, especially for clients with property CGTmatters.

Additional experience in trusts and estates, non-residents and private clients would be beneficial.

Previous experience working in a UK accountancy practice or as a tax specialist is essential. You could be ATT qualified, training, or QBE - hence the broad salary range offered.

Naturally, there will be regular contact with HMRC and the provision of support to other staff members. Strong communication skills are essential to enable you to serve your clients.

If you want to develop your tax skills and experience, this opportunity to support the firm's Tax Manager could be right for you. You can work from offices in Folkestone or Ashford or sometimes from home.
