**Responsibilities and Duties**

The role of the FOB Co-ordinator is to work as part of the FOB & Direct Team by managing a set of customers and management of the customers purchase orders and sales orders. Working with direction from the Senior Purchasing Manager, the role primarily will be data administration, raising orders and liaising with suppliers through our China office. Working for some of the fastest growing brands in the UK and dealing with customers and suppliers on a global basis.

**Specific areas of Responsibility**
- The raising and management of sales orders from customers
- The raising and management of purchase orders to suppliers
- Using relevant reports and checksheets to ensure customers requirements are followed
- Documentation Administration
- Working closely with customers and related buyers
- Managing system dates, ensuring accuracy at all times
- Updating and maintaining Navision data, especially in relation to item/vendor cards and purchase order and sales order information
- Liaising with Accounts to ensure deposits/balance payments meet deadlines for shipments
- Liaising with Suppliers, Customers, Buyers and Factories in the Far East and Worldwide
- Chasing and handling of product samples, tracking and customer requirements
- Liaising with China Office in relation to purchase orders, sales orders and product information
- Checking of Inspection reports, sales confirmations, customer requirement etc.
- Assisting with any enquiries from other departments, sales reps etc.
- General support to the Buying Team and Purchasing Department
- Any other responsibilities that may be required in relation to your job role

- Ability to work within a fast paced and demanding supply chain environment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills (including verbal and written)
- The ability to remain highly organized, prioritize and take ownership of work, a completer-finisher
- A customer-focused mind set. Ability to build strong internal and external relationships to support the overall business strategy
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work independently/on own initiative
- A team player bring positive energy and enthusiasm to the team
- Excellent attention to detail and administration skills
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft packages
