Overview and Responsibilities:
**Casual/Bank Care Support Worker**

**Location**: Minehead, Somerset

**Salary**:£11.00-£12.00 per hour + 13% Holiday Pay

**Hours**: Flexible shifts to suit you

**The main purpose of the role**:
To ensure you meet the personal care needs of service users in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence.

As an employee of The Reynard Care and Support Agency your absolute priority is to safeguard the service users in our care. You must work professionally, effectively and sensitively with your team to ensure that all service users are safe and feel safe with any concerns listened to and acted upon appropriately.

**Key duties**:

- To assist service users who need help with getting up in the morning, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing and the toilet.
- To help service users with mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including
- Incontinence, and help in use and care of aids and personal equipment.
- To comply with the agency's guidelines and policies at all times.
- To encourage service users to remain as independent as possible.
- To carry out duties in accordance with the Personal Service User plan (care plan).
- To complete medication record, if applicable.
- To complete accident / incident forms in the event of an accident/incident.
- To report to the Registered Manager immediately if, and when, an individual appears unwell, or has a problem you feel unable to deal with.
- To ensure all paperwork is appropriately completed and kept up-to-date.
- To support individuals in attending planned activities in the community whilst promoting individual interests.

Duties will vary, you must expect to diversify and lend a hand wherever is required.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Level 2 English and Maths or prepared to work towards
- Care work experience (Desired)
- Level 3 Health and Social Care or working towards
