Ocean Infinity is seeking a **Head of Procurement** to lead the global procurement team. The Head of Procurement will be overall responsible for the procurement and purchasing activities at Ocean Infinity. Focus shall be on strategic processes of product or service sourcing, including research, negotiation, planning and contract compliance, in close collaboration with the relevant departments.

**What will you do**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the business goals and objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to ensure a reliable and diverse supply chain.
- Oversee sourcing and selection of reliable suppliers ensuring alignment with quality and reliability standards.
- Implement strategies to optimize costs and drive savings in procurement activities, contributing to overall financial goals.
- Utilize data-driven approaches and market insights to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (including ISO).
- Implement and enforce best practices for compliance within the procurement function.
- Lead and inspire a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, promoting professional development and knowledge-sharing.
- Collaborating with senior management to define procurement budgets, targets, and performance metrics.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market trends and industry best practices.

**Who you are**:

- Relevant University degree.
- Proven experience in a senior procurement role, demonstrating strategic thinking and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and industry standards in relation to sourcing of services and products;
- Strong negotiation skills;
- Demonstrate ability to be accountable for functional and company objectives;
- Thoughtful, thorough and conscientious;
- Interested in others and strives to act in the best interests of the team;
- Ability to take ownership and engagement in the work;
- Integrity, credibility and maturity for confidential issues;
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with diplomacy;
- Ability to work as a trusted advisor with senior stakeholders;
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment;

- Strong communication skills;

**Desirable**:

- Experience from supplier and subcontractor auditing;
- Experience with Oracle Netsuite;
- Previous experience in Ocean Infinity areas of operation (marine, survey, offshore).
