Heating Surveyor

Great opportunity for a skilled and Motivated Heating sales surveyor to join the fast-expanding team of a Local heating business who have established themselves in the Dorset area.

You will manage all aspects of sales including home surveys, documenting boiler requirements and listing the materials, communicating with the head office, discussing the installation process with customers and providing a quotation then closing the dealat the end of the survey.

Your role will consist of.
- Complete accurately a full list of materials that will be required to complete each installation, and allocate sufficient time to complete this work.
- Selecting the most suitable boiler for the customer and quoting accurately.
- Arrange with the resident an installation date and book this on-site on the system and scheduler
- Be aware of procedures and identify any risks associated with arranged surveys, e.g. asbestos / hazardous materials on site, manual handling and working at height legislation etc.
- Provide clear details on potential issues which may affect an arranged installation e.g. scaffold requirements, parking restrictions, dnva etc.
- Communicate with your team of engineers on a daily basis to resolve potential problems to ensure installation is completed within agreed time frames.
- Liaise with installation department in the office to ensure correct programming of jobs and ordering of materials
- Provide accurate reports to your Installation Supervisor on a weekly and monthly basis
- Ensure Health & Safety & Environmental procedures and standards are adhered to

To complete this role you must be
- ACS qualified within domestic gas.
- Hold a valid UK Driving License.
- 1+ years' experience as a boiler surveyor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly, presentable, thorough and has a positive attitude
- Proven track record within sales.
