We are recruiting for a Housekeeping & Maintenance Assistant, to look after our hotel's basic maintenance needs and assist housekeeping where required.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Undertaking a range of maintenance activities, depending on business needs.
- Assisting housekeeping department, moving furniture, re setting rooms.
- Working closely with the hotel's Head Housekeeper, to ensure that any maintenance issues are attended to promptly each day.
- Assist in cleaning of bedrooms and public areas
- Distribute deliveries
- Ensure the hotel's grounds are clean and tidy
- Perform all types of painting and decorating to hotel standards.
- Assist with the repair of equipment, fixtures and fittings according to ability and qualifications.
- Experience in either electrical work, painting and decorating or plumbing would be a definite advantage.
