**JOB DESCRIPTION**

As a Loan Trading Documentation Corporate Action NDA Associate Closer in the Secondary Loan Trading Business you will be exposed to the activities of the business which is part of the Corporate and Investment Bank’s Global Credit Trading platform. The business trades all privately issued loans, including second lien and mezzanine securities and in the case of distressed loans any successor or restructured instruments including restructured equity. Our client base includes the top European banks, credit funds, CLO investors, hedge funds and private equity clients. The desk serves each of these clients with opportunities from Investment Grade to distressed and complex restructurings.
**Job responsibilities**
- Coordinates waiver and amendments for credits where necessary, connects with external and internal clients, legal and maintenance of the Waiver SharePoint
- Connects with the Bangalore team in order to complete the 2nd check for all info postings acting as gatekeeper, and leveraging the Aurora Prime work tool to manage flow
- Creates and understands key metrics reporting for front office teams; daily / weekly / monthly reporting of Corporate Actions, NDAs and open / closed / new trade population
- Acts as information gatekeeper for multiple loan trading desks, handling confidential information and ensuring compliance with data management policies.
- Reviews and understands syndicated credit agreements with specific focus on transfer mechanics and confidentiality provisions
- Processes non-disclosure agreements (“NDAs”), while working closely with legal and trading desk
- Works in a very dynamic environment and partners with the trading desk, external clients, legal counsel and operations to assist with the settlement of primary / secondary par and distressed loan trades across EMEA
- Identifies and escalates issues to the front office trading assistants / traders / sales people, internal legal counsel and operations management in respect of NDAs and trading issues (including key economics, trade specific language and fee-related discussions)
- Manages a small trade portfolio across various lines of business while maintaining a healthy aging profile and driving reduced settlement times
- Works on non-business as usual projects and initiatives designed to improve automation and strengthen the team’s control environment
**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Self-motivation with tangible examples of demonstrating drive and initiative
- Highly organised
- Extremely detailed and control orientated; keen to understand the detail
- Ability to multitask efficiently under pressure and in a fast paced environment
- Strong PC skills in particular Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Must have excellent client service skills (for both internal and external clients)
**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Prior knowledge of any of the following; knowledge of LMA secondary debt trading market,, prior experience of reviewing finance documents (such as credit agreements), experience in reviewing / drafting / negotiating NDAs, and experience of distressed secondary trading closings and handling confidential and material non-public information
- Knowledge of Loan IQ and ClearPar
- European language skills
