Job Introduction
**Job Opportunity: Highways Inspector**

Situated in North Worcestershire, Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council share services. **Position**: Highways Inspector, Grade 5
**Location**: Bromsgrove and Redditch
**Hours**: Full-time (37 hours per week)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct inspections of footways, roads, and car parks across the district and borough.
- Perform assessments of bus shelters and other assets.
- Report back to the Engineering and Design Team to help formulate a work-to list for the Minor Works Team.
- Work alongside other departments within the organisation to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in Highways inspections or Highways work is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills
