**About the Role**:
We are recruiting a Logistics Software Implementation Consultant for the world's leading solution provider of modular warehouse and logistics systems.

The Logistics Consultant works closely with customer and internal stakeholders to define and document the

logistics process. This role would be ideal for an experienced Mid or Senior level Software Developer looking to pursue a consultancy role.

As the Logistics Consultant you will:

- Support the design and delivery process of large projects while ensuring that solutions are developed and delivered in line with customer expectations
- Be responsible for the design and delivery of projects utilising Warehouse Management Software
- Be the link between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Be supporting sales by preparing materials for sale bids and presenting products to potential customers
- Create agreeable architectural solutions and database design with developer team
- Some programming will be required
- Query database using SQL to answer questions from stakeholders
- Provide consultancy and training to customers
- Work with colleagues as part of team to recommend appropriate changes and architectural solutions

**Requirements**:

- BSc or HND/HNC in Computer Science OR equivalent qualification OR work experience
- Able to design architectural systems
- Able to code (ideally Java)
- Able to design and query database (ideally Oracle)
- Knows Linux and Windows systems
- Experience of system installations (operating system, database)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical, multi-tasker and pro-active
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, UML knowledge will be an advantage
- Full driving license is required

**Additional**:

- **Homeworking contract. Infrequent travel to office / customer sites required**
