Our Ipswich Client is looking for a HGV Class 1 relief Driver to join their family recycling & waste management company to cover the small fleet of vehicles during periods of absence/holiday/additional workload.
This is a permanent position requiring a minimum of 28 weeks driving per year.
Vehicles to be operated include 6 & 8 Wheeled Refuse Vehicles, drawbar Rolonof/Hooklifts, Skip Loader, Artic & Mobile Shredding Truck.
Full valid LGV Class 1 driving licence and Drivers CPC essential with maximum of 6 penalty points.
Appropriate handling licences an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
Applicants must be versatile and willing to learn and adapt accordingly.
Fast paced, highly flexible role requiring good level of physical fitness and high work rate.
Knowledge of waste industry is desirable but not essential.
Minimum of 47.5 hours per week but overtime during week and on a Saturday normally required.
Immediate Start.
