Veterinary Receptionist

_**We are looking for a quick learner with a natural flair for customer service to join our Purbeck team working at both our Wareham and Swanage branches.**_
You may already be working within the industry and fancy a change, or may be looking to get a foot in the door to begin your veterinary career - either way this could be the perfect opportunity for you
Training will be provided, however excellent IT skills will be a requirement, as well as great communication skills.
**Duties include**:
- Front desk duties such as greeting clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, answering phone calls and address client inquiries, scheduling appointments and managing the diary, taking payments, checking-in patients and updating patient records
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary practice is an advantage, but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism
- Proactive and a quick learner
**Shifts are 8am-7pm select weekdays and 8am-1pm Saturdays.**

Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
