The teams in this Business Line contribute, along with the Group's geographical entities, to supporting local authorities and companies in their environmental transition, as well as citizens to facilitate their access to a more sustainable consumption.


**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR**

**Contract type**: Permanent
**Working Pattern**:Full time
**Working Hours**: 38 per week
**Location based**: Pucklechurch. Travel throughout UK and occasionally Europe will be necessary.
**Salary**: £28,000 - £30,000
Generous benefits package including 28 days holiday plus bank holidays on joining, 2 well being days a year and 1% benefit fund for all employees.

**Purpose of role**:
To provide on-the-ground support to services delivered from the Pucklechurch depot - Ice pigging, new mains chlorination and pressure testing and Satellite Leakage Detection projects across the UK and abroad. Provide the support necessary for effective performance within established quality, health safety and environmental standards

**Responsibilities**:
Support the delivery of ice pigging projects in the UK and abroad.
Bacteriological water sampling of new water mains.
Support the Water Operations Manager with the maintenance and compliance of the HGV fleet.
Ensure equipment, including delivery trailers, outlet equipment and ice making machines have regular maintenance, and faults reported then repaired.
Support the team delivering new drinking water mains Chlorination’s and pressure testing.
Mentor team members
Coordinate between customer requests on site and/or issues with the technology.
Ensure technical, quality and H&S parts of delivery.
Work with other teams and departments within SUEZ as required.
Report on site activity, any near misses, or incidents / hazards.
Be available to work away from home and at night (when required for the project).

**Which skills and experiences you will need to succeed in this role?**

**Qualifications required to do this role**:
Hold a valid UK driving licence - essential
HGV License or a desire to be trained
New Road and Street Works Act - desirable.
CSCS card - desirable
National Water Hygiene (EUSR) card - desirable

**Experience required to do this role**:
Knowledge of drinking water networks e.g., valve operations etc.
An understanding of GIS plans.
Experience within the UK water industry - desirable.

**Skills required to do this role**:

Able to work efficiently and independently.
