We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Railway Surveyor (Topographic Surveyor) to join our team. As a Railway Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in surveying and mapping railway infrastructure, conducting topographic surveys, and providing accurate data to support railway construction and maintenance projects. **Responsibilities**:

- Conduct topographic surveys of railway corridors, tracks, bridges, tunnels, and associated infrastructure.
- Utilize advanced surveying equipment and techniques, including total stations, GPS receivers, laser scanners, and digital levels, to collect precise and reliable data.
- Establish control points and reference marks to ensure accurate geospatial positioning.
- Perform detailed measurements, including track alignment, grades, curves, and elevations.
- Collect and analyze survey data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Prepare comprehensive survey reports, drawings, and digital models using industry-standard software and CAD tools.
- Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide accurate survey data for project design, planning, and construction activities.
- Conduct periodic monitoring surveys to assess the condition and stability of railway infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices during survey activities.
- Work night shifts and be willing to travel to remote locations as required, with working away from home forming an integral part of the role.

**Requirements**:

- Degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in railway surveying or topographic surveying.
- Proficiency in using surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, laser scanners, and digital levels.
- Strong knowledge of railway infrastructure, including tracks, alignment, grades, and associated features.
- Familiarity with surveying software and CAD tools for data processing and design.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under challenging conditions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
- Willingness to work night shifts and travel to remote locations, with working away from home forming an integral part of the role.
- A commitment to safety and the ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines.

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
