Counsellor/psychotherapist

We are a neurodivergent-affirmative, multicultural therapy and training social enterprise. We are growing We are now seeking creative therapists who have lived or professional experience with the neurodivergent community to join our supportive, passionate, experienced team of Associate Therapists on a self-employed basis. Dance and movement, and Dramatherapists are very welcome to apply.

**We require all our associates to have the following skills and competencies**:

- Creative therapists from various relational modalities including: Integrative, psychodynamic, person-centred, attachment Informed, IFS, Systemic, Multicultural, Social Justice Counselling, Gestalt or TA.
- Passionate about neurodiversity
- Understand the needs and challenges faced by marginalized communities
- Socially and politically aware.
- LGBTQIA+ Affirmative
- Trained to use the arts as clinical tool (i.e. Dramatherapists, Music therapists, Arts Therapists, Movement & Dance therapists, use of Sandtray, creative writing or online gaming)
- BACP, UKCP or HCPC Registered with at least 450 hours post qualification experience
- Proactive, Passionate and Person-Centred
- IT Savvy (can use our online diary and bookings system; can navigate online therapy and use online sandtray apps).
- Works with either: Adult, young person, child and parent & child, couples, or families.
- Understands the needs and challenges faced by parent/carers of neurodivergent children.
- Self employed, Sole Traders with Public and Professional Liability Insurance.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate and member of DBS Update Service.
- Based anywhere in the UK.
- Therapists must be in supervision.
**We also look for the following desirable skills and experience**:

- Lived experience of neurodiversity and/or being a parent/carer for neurodivergent children.
- Lived experience of marginalization.
- Ability to conduct face-to-face therapy within a clean, comfortable, accessible venue.
- Experience in public speaking, workshop facilitation, teaching, or training would be an advantage.

- Psychotherapy: 2 years (required)
