**Outreach Psychotherapist
**Salary: £38,000 Pro Rata (21 Hours per week 3 days x 7 hours)**
**Duration: Permanent**

A qualified and experienced trauma informed psychotherapist with a passion for supporting vulnerable and marginalised people, and with a positive energetic attitude._ Must be fully accredited with UKCP or BACP._
- This post is focused on working with people who are currently rough sleeping or have experience of rough sleeping in the past.
- The post holder will deliver outreach psychotherapy to clients in Hackney, who have been identified by the commissioned Outreach Team and referred to the psychotherapy service at Providence Row.
- The Outreach Psychotherapy Service works with people who are experiencing difficulties maintaining an accommodation due to historical trauma, current crisis or issues such as depression, substance misuse, anxiety, relationship issues, physical or psychosomaticdisorders, and behavioural problems.
- This service is specifically designed to meet our clients’ complex needs, and is flexible in terms of meeting times and places, and provides both formal psychotherapy sessions and informal catch up sessions. The post holder will conduct targeted streetshifts with the commissioned Outreach Service to introduce the service to current rough sleepers, and meet with potential clients.
- You will work closely with Street Outreach Response Teams, and other specialist agencies, targeting vulnerable people. The post holder will also provide on-going support to those placed into emergency/temporary and longer term accommodation by Hackney StreetOutreach Team.
- The post holder will be line managed by the Head of Psychotherapy.
