Crisp Malt is one of Europe’s leading suppliers of malted barley and specialty malted cereals to the world’s brewing, distilling and food industries.

And since 1870 we’ve been making malted Barley for brewers and distillers all over the world from our home maltings in Norfolk. Today, we continue that in 4 countries, across 7 Maltings with specific emphasis on supplying distilleries and craft breweries.

We have an exciting opportunity at our Gt Ryburgh Crisp Malt site for a Store Person to join our team.

This role will be responsible for managing stock levels of items necessary to ensure the efficient running of the Great Ryburgh site.

Covering a 40 hour per week Monday - Friday.

Key responsibilities:

- Maintaining stock levels and inventory of engineering spares, cleaning supplies and PPE/clothing
- Obtain quotes when required to ensure that all purchases are within budget
- Ordering items from our approved suppliers
- Accepting delivery of orders and checking off against orders and delivery notes
- Knowledge of SAP for the processing of invoices against orders/deliveries
- Working knowledge of CMMS
- Engage fully in all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental training to assist the Company to meet its legal obligations.

**Experience**:
Essential
- Demonstratable problem solving abilities and Quality awareness
- Able to work within a fast past environment to ensuring requirements consistently met
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Strong communication skills to develop working relationships
- Confident in using computer-based maintenance systems and Microsoft.

Desirable
- Knowledge of Bearings, Belts, Motors, Gearboxes and other engineering spares

Skills/Abilities:

- Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
- Ability to work well within a team.
