As a Market Researcher at Cognassist, you will play a critical role in supporting our growth by sourcing and identifying potential clients and partnerships in the fields of education and business. You will report directly to the VP of Sales and work closely with the sales and marketing teams to deliver high-quality data and insights. This role requires a highly organized and analytical individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks and contribute to the success of the company.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients in the educational and corporate sectors, including companies, schools, and other relevant institutions.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of key contacts, including decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in target organisations.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to provide accurate and up-to-date contact information to drive lead generation and business development efforts.
- Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decision-making and drive growth.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of all data in the CRM and related systems, making updates and adjustments as needed.
- Produce regular reports and insights on market research findings to inform sales and marketing strategies and guide team efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address gaps in market knowledge and proactively suggest improvements to existing processes.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and webinars to stay current on market trends and expand professional networks.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Experience in market research, sales, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of CRM systems, data management, and/or analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong desire to contribute to the success of the team and company.
- Familiarity with the education and/or technology sectors is a plus.
