Site Buyer

**Job Title: PMO (Project Management Office) Site Buyer**
**Salary: £160 - £180 per day, 37.5 hours per week**
**Business / Location: Redcar**

Kelly Services are currently looking for a Site Buyer in PMO sourcing to perform purchase of materials or contracting services considering the organization specific requirements and commodity procurement strategy for a Offshore Wind project.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Performs purchase of materials or contracting services considering the organization specific requirements and commodity procurement strategy for a given for the project.
- Performs sourcing activities under the supervision and coordination of the PMO Project Sourcing Manager.
- Search and selection of new site vendors for equipment, services and material in cooperation with PMO Project Sourcing Manager.
- Leads onboarding of new suppliers following the correct procedure, with the auxiliary support of PMO Procurement.
- Issues RFQ, defines PO requirements for projects and services phase, performs total cost analysis, negotiates all necessary commercial conditions, prepares basis for decision during the project execution phase.
- Is aligned with the Business objectives for cost, on-time delivery and payment terms; among others.
- Prepares all necessary documentation and supporting archives for Purchase Orders to be issued by PMO Procurement in the ERP system.
- In charge of keeping records and organization of sourcing related documents in his/her scope (hardcopies and electronic files in the corresponding databases), according to PMO Sourcing archiving guidelines.
- Follow-up of PO deliveries and execution of services together with the PMO Project Sourcing Manager.
His/ Her performance is measured against the quality of deliverables during PMO Execution phases such as:

- Savings and Payment terms accomplishment
- On-time PO placement
- PO documentation preparation
- Materials and services on-time delivery under his/her scope.

**Skills and experience required**:

- Education in supply chain and/or sourcing management.
- Negotiation skills (experience, training)
- Basic financial understanding: hedging, net present value, financial report and basic knowledge of transport, insurances & taxes.
- Experience in assessing and working with suppliers.
- Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
- Analytic and decision-making abilities.
- Proactivity and assertiveness, both with external suppliers and with internal colleagues and stakeholders.
- Team player and able to work with and through others and to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
