Bricklayer

Role description

Experienced Bricklayers needed who can lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other types of masonry units to construct or repair walls, foundations and prepare basic groundworks.
- Measure and cut materials to specific dimensions using hand or power tools
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using a trowel
- Align and level bricks and blocks using plumb lines, levels, or straightedges
- Clean excess mortar from finished work using water and brushes
- Repair or replace damaged bricks or blocks

Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience of bricklaying, groundworks & footings
- Proficient in working with various masonry materials such as bricks, concrete blocks, and stones
- Knowledge of different masonry techniques and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 2 weeks

**Salary**: From £210.00 per day
