**Welder fabricator**

Salary from £13 to £16 per hour (depending on experience and skill set)

Full time - 40 hours per week

Mon to Thurs 8am - 5:15pm Fri 8am - 1pm

We are seeking a **welder fabricator** who thrives on working in a busy environment, to become part of our friendly and supportive team.
- The main duties of this exciting role include:_
- Welding and fabricating machined / laser cut sheet and tube components to the required company standard, fabricating high quality original equipment whilst following customer drawings / specifications.
- Ensuring all activities are completed within Health and Safety guidelines.
- Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with team members from laser and folding.
- Completing butt and fillet welds using TIG and MIG on an array of materials (CR4, S275, S355, Aluminium, Stainless Steel 304 and 316)
- Marking out, jig creation and continually optimising production methods to reduce production time.
- Working on own initiative, identifying risks and implementing safety improvements.
- Experience working within a medium - heavy duty manufacturing environment as a production welder and ideally as a fabricator.
- High motivation levels, be proactive and innovative to help maintain/improve processes within the team to ensure great efficiency within a busy environment.
- An ability to communicate well with colleagues as part of the MJH team.
- Great attention to detail with the ability to consistently maintain accuracy even when under pressure.
- A clear understanding of the importance of working to deadlines and targets/customer due dates.
- A positive, can-do attitude.

**Salary**: £13.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
