Lorry Driver

Job Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Lorry Driver to supplement our team. As a Lorry Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently to designated locations. If you have experience in commercial driving and possess excellent communication skills, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate and drive various types of vehicles including vans and lorries
- Transport goods and materials between warehouses, distribution centres, and customer locations
- Load and unload cargo ensuring it is securely fastened
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Experience:

- Previous experience as a van driver or delivery driver is advantageous
- Knowledge of warehouse operations is beneficial
- Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance is preferred
- Experience with flatbed trucks is a plus
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential

Pay: From £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
