**Role overview**
**Sonographer**
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Perform follicle tracking scans, early pregnancy scans, gynecology scans, transvaginal baseline scans, as necessary
- Ability to perform HyCoSys (preferred)
- Perform ultrasound scanning for patients in treatment
- Maintain the highest standards of administration at all times including the accurate recording of key information via the ultrasound machine and in the electronic medical records system
- Ensure that patients are comfortable following procedures
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
- Comply with the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority’s Code of Practice, the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, the Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009 and the Data Protection Act 2018, with special reference to patient confidentiality
- Comply with The Evewell’s health & safety policies with particular reference to procedures to be followed in the event of a fire and to report all accidents and untoward incidents to the health & safety officer
- Undertake mandatory training as required, including health & safety, fire, manual handling
- Comply with infection control and CQC policies and procedures
- Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council, Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and/or on the Register of Clinical Technologists (as appropriate)
**General**
- Ensure that you adhere to the guidelines set forth by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority's Code of Practice, as well as the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, the Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009, and the Data Protection Act 2018, with a particular focus on maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Abide by The Evewell's health and safety policies, especially in regards to fire procedures. Additionally, it is important to report any accidents or incidents to the health and safety officer.
- Complete necessary training, such as health and safety, fire safety, and manual handling.
- Comply with infection control, CQC and safeguarding policies and procedures
- Competent in basic life support and immediate life support
- Quality Management System requirements
- Empathetic, caring and always prepared to go that extra mile.
- Capable of understanding and adhering to processes and protocols.
- Confident, with clear communication and a real focus on providing outstanding care to patients.
- Versatile and flexible, possess excellent attention to detail, and be able to work accurately and efficiently.
- Able to work collaboratively with the various teams at all levels across the clinic.

**Location**
- The roles is available at our Hammersmith locations
- This is a clinical role that must be undertaken on-site. There will be no opportunity for remote/home working.

- £45 to £60 per hour
