We are a sub contract precision engineering firm with over 70 employees & 37 CNC machines, mainly serving the motorsport & automotive industry. We have an excellent reputation in what we do and we always strive to improve.
**Job Summary**:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our night shift team who will have an engineering background and preferably have experience in the sub contract motorsport/aerospace industry. The successful applicant will be required to read technical drawings and inspect components to customer design and specifications. You will be able to use various types of inspection equipment which includes CMM’s. Document control and completing reports which are provided on request.
With the support of a well-equipped inspection department and other highly skilled team mates by your side, you will enjoy having everything you need to get the job done
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of inspection equipment.
- Knowledge of CMM’s (Mitutoyo cosmos software an advantage but not essential)
- Knowledge of FAIR, ISIR’s and other documents
- Strong attention to detail
- Work to tight deadlines
- At times, be able to work “lone wolf” under pressure
- To have a flexible approach
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £34,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
