Position - Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (12Hour Shift Pattern)
**Permanent Position
**Job Purpose
Use both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering skills and knowledge to maintain and enhance the performance of plant and equipment.

Provide first class, flexible support to production requirements and factory services at all times.

**Role Accountabilities
Ensure accurate & timely records are recorded of all work carried out, root causes of failures and of spares or consumables used.

Ensure engineering downtime is accurately logged, monitor repair times, and find new methods or procedures to reduce these.

Ensure PPM systems are followed and completed as required.

Provide engineering support to production to ensure efficient performance of all equipment.

Ensure that all H&S procedures, engineering best practices are adhered to at all times.

**Skills and Qualifications
Recognised engineering qualifications (essential)

Time served apprenticeship or equivalent (essential)

Knowledge of Pneumatics Systems (Essential)

Knowledge of Hydraulic systems (Essential)

Previous maintenance experience - manufacturing environment preferable (essential)

Understanding of PLC systems and various control systems

Understanding and ability to carry out basic Electrical & Electronic fault finding.

Self-managing - Must be able to work under own supervision or as part of a team and have excellent communication skills. Methodical record keeping

This is a great opportunity for a time served multi skilled engineer to work as part of a great team.

Shift is a rolling 12Hr Monday to Friday pattern.
