**About the role**
We are currently seeking a SHEQ Coordinator who will be responsible for delivering set SHEQ targets based upon an ever changing work environment, supporting the SHEQ team in all aspects of day to day Operational and Project Site SHEQ Management.

**What You Will Do**:

- You will be responsible for delivering to set SHEQ targets based upon an ever-changing work environment.
- You will support the SHEQ Team in all aspects of day-to-day Operational and Project Site SHEQ management, looking at Onshore Wind (operational/construction), Solar PV (operational/ construction).
- You will be responsible for maintaining SHEQ and compliance data logs, such as PAT testing records, office safety, Legionella control, driver’s license checks, and document control.
- In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining a number of registers, including but not limited to Equipment, PPE, IMS system documentation as required to ensure that the companies retain accreditation to the ISO standards for Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Management and Quality Management.
- You will ensure that all SHEQ communications are gathered and retained in accordance with record retention requirements, industry alerts, topical SHEQ items to ensure BayWa r.e. are in a position to comply with internal and ISO standards, work procedures and improvement processes.
- Supporting the team to set up and monitor ongoing SHEQ workgroups and teams.
- You will support the SHEQ team in relation to the Quentic platform, sending reminders on open Quentic items, inc. actions and incidents.
- Management of the training matrices, coordination and booking of training for all teams, ensure only approved providers are used and appropriate training is issued, as well as the internal training through Quentic.
- Analyse SHEQ data to support the SHEQ managers to resolve issues.
- Liaise with Internal and external clients, colleagues, and 3rd parties where there are SHEQ activities to progress.

**What You Bring**:

- Must have a strong Health and Safety background, ideally with a NEBOSH Cert qualification (or equivalent); or at least 2 years of Safety Management experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills together with demonstrable understanding and experience of process safety and an appreciation of Solar PV and Wind Generation, including operational management requirements.
- Preferably you have worked in renewables or construction; and have proven knowledge and understanding of the basics of Health and Safety management required to operate an accredited ISO management system.
- You have high level of customer and service orientation and a strong willingness to learn and develop yourself.
- You are trained in using computer and standard programmes and can quickly familiarize yourself with new tools and software systems
- You are able to work under pressure and you are strong organiser, able to prioritise workload and able to multitask.
- You solve problems systematically and have an analytical and structured way of working.
- You are a team player with good communication skills and with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to occasionally be part of escalation team to deal with out of hours emergency events.
- An appreciation of interest in or preferably a holder of a qualification in environmental management.
- A willingness to undertake quality management training, or preferably to have a quality management qualification.
- A willingness to get stuck into the variety of SHEQ programmes that will be part of your day to day.
