We are a private boarding facility that prides ourselves on reputation.
Objectives of Job: Carrying out daily duties in the kennels and cattery
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To demonstrate a clear understanding of animal welfare
- To ensure high levels of dietary requirements, cleaning and hygiene are maintained in all Kennel and cattery areas.
Essential skills and experience:
- Level 3 in Animal or equivalent experience of working in a kennel environment.
- An understanding of health issues, infection control and vaccinations.
- Behavioural experience, customer service skills.
- A high standard of animal handling skills including dealing with nervous animals.
- Work within the kennel / cattery team cleaning, walking, and feeding animals during a daily routine.
- Cleaning to a high standard including outside.
- Washing laundry
- Cleaning feed and water bowls
- Administrating medication
- Report any behavioural/medical concerns of any of the animal to your supervisor or manager.
- Update the boards.
- Answer the telephone and customer service.
- Transporting animals to and from the kennels.
- Walking dogs
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 17 - 40 per week
**Salary**: From £10.00 per hour
