**LITIGATION LEGAL ADVISOR 1 YR+**

**The opportunity**

This is an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished Civil Litigation Legal Adviser. We are looking for someone with ambition and drive to join our team. You are likely to have around 1 - 3 years PQE and enthusiasm to take on a real career opportunity.It is envisaged that this will be a full time role, but we are always willing to consider different working patterns.

**Your key duties will be**
- to handle a wide range of general civil litigation work including handling the firm’s debt recovery, dealing with residential possession work and contentious probate
- working closely with a range of clients to provide fast and pragmatic advice
- working with marketing strategies to attract new clients and developing relationships with current clients
- assisting in development opportunities within Mayo Wynne Baxter and externally
- assisting and supervising more junior fee earners, delegating appropriate work to paralegals and supporting more senior team members on large complex matters

**Skills and experience you will have**:

- a minimum of 1 year’s relevant experience working in civil litigation
- experience in property litigation is preferred but not essential as training will be given
- ability to manage your workload, knowing when to delegate and when to request additional input, to provide the best client service
- an understanding of clients as our business partners & the importance of knowing what is key for them
- a willingness to network and generate new business
- ambition, leadership capability and vision to work as a team to grow the business
