**Job summary**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Grade 5 Ward Sister on Beauport Ward. Beauport is a 28 bedded trauma and orthopaedic ward, with a mixture of emergency and elective patients.

You will be responsible for running the ward on shift, supporting the ward manager with management tasks, organising staff training, roster management and working with the team to achieve the highest standards of care. You will be work closely with the ward staff, management team and the wider multi-disciplinary team so excellent communication is essential.

We require 2 years experience and preferably experience in trauma and orthopaedics. There are multiple training opportunities for the right person including management courses and professional development opportunities and will be supported by the Ward Manager, the second grade 5, lead nurse and the surgical care group.
