**The opportunity**:
As the Retail Talent Acquisition Specialist at Sephora UK, you will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and selecting top talent for our teams based in London HQ, Northampton and Channel Islands; covering all functional areas from eCommerce, IT, Brand and Marketing, HR, Finance and Operations. You will collaborate with the HR team and hiring managers to ensure a seamless hiring process. Your focus will be on connecting the business with professionals who align with Sephora's values and possess the necessary skills and passion to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process with a seamless transition to the HR Business Partner one hire day 1.
- Review and screen resumes, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers. Take accountability for sending all new starter paperwork (and receiving) to ensure accurate payroll records. Coach managers regarding interview best practice and protocols.
- Work with Brand and the broader HR team to design new and exciting ways to promote Sephora's employer brand and value proposition to attract and engage top talent. Take a lead on key initiatives that showcase life at Sephora UK (such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Instagram).
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand their talent needs. Be active in anticipating hiring needs for critical positions.
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on best practices in interviewing, selection, and talent assessment.
**Skills**:
- Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or Recruiter in the retail industry, preferably within the beauty or cosmetics sector.
- Experience hiring mid-Senior level positions across technical functions.
- Knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and selection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Passion for beauty and cosmetics, and a strong alignment with Sephora's values and mission.
