Team Lead

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join and co-lead our growing OPU team. Specifically this position will be based in the Frailty Team and will have a crucial role in leading and developing therapy provision in the SDEC and admission areas of the Hospital.
This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with Consultants, ACPs, other AHPs, Nurses and operational teams to deliver high standard clinical care. You will get the opportunity to be part of complex innovative change across the department and will receive our commitment to help you develop your skills to maximise your potential.
You will share leadership of the OPU therapy team and will find yourself in a supportive environment which prioritises wellbeing. This is both an opportunity for experienced team leaders as well as those starting their leadership journey at this level.
The trust strongly supports a commitment to CPD and the Adult Therapy department has Education Facilitators who support student activity for all our therapists.
You will be lead and be part of a service which supports older people across multiple clinical areas including: the emergency department, admission areas, inpatient specialty wards and the community. You will work independently as well as being part of the MDT.
The leadership element of the role will also mean you will contribute to the operational responsibilities of the therapies department.
