GBR Recruitment Ltd are working in partnership with a leading high end manufacturing business, recruiting for an experienced**Joinery, Carpentry & Interior Fit Out Design Engineer (3D AutoCAD)**who has had exposure to **Siemens NX or SolidWorks**ideally.

You will be an innovative & creative Joinery, Carpentry & Interior Fit Out Design Professional, with strong experience of working within complexed build design & complex Wooden based products manufacturing design (DFM).

If you are a woodworking design guru, who can turn their hand to designing a range of interior products such as; doors, tables, chairs, kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, floors, cupboards, storage solutions & more to a high spec standard then this is a greatrole for you

**Joinery, Carpentry & Interior Fit Out Design Engineer Duties**:

- Implement Design solutions for all Joinery / Carpentry / Woodworking requirements, to aid delivery of all New Product Introduction, plus many custom build requests,
- Producing Joinery / Carpentry / Interior Fit Out drawings to full production level, including detailed technical drawings.
- Produce Joinery / Carpentry / Interior Fit Out drawings & relative specification documents to allow for accurate quotations, purchases & manufacture of all associated parts / components.
- Full engagement with all DFMA activities, for implementation in production builds.
- Testing & proving of new products, within the factory build process.
- The ability to work on multiple projects for production.
- Liaising with the production line to discuss design requirements & any issues.

**Woodwork Designer Attributes**:

- Degree level qualification - Desirable or time served Design Professional.
- Used to producing joinery drawings to required production/CNC level requirements / specifications, from detailed assemblies, installation drawings, right through to component parts
- Strong Joinery / Carpentry / Interior Fit Out Specialist Designer.
- Strong Joinery / Carpentry / Interior Fit Out Conceptual Design, NPD & NPI skills required within Electrical DFM.
- Ability to work on a vast variety of interior solutions (cupboards, kitchens, furnishings, bedrooms, storage, trims, skirtings, doors, tables, chairs etc.
- Strong knowledge of 3D CAD software - Siemens NX preferable, or a similar 3D CAD package like SolidWorks or others.
- An understanding of PLM systems (Siemens Teamcenter used).
