The post would give opportunities for middle tier doctors to develop skills and knowledge in this rapidly emergent field of clinical informatics, develop relationships across multi-professional teams and work with a team to support the digital maturity of the organisation to support staff and develop improvements in patient safety, quality, and organisational efficiency.It will provide insight to the doctor in training into how the hospital runs at a managerial level, and you will gain exposure to senior leaders and their work. Your contribution to the clinical informatics team will be to foster relationships between IT, Information services, clinical informatics team and clinicians, and encourage clinical engagement in digitisation in the Trust.
