Production Assitant

RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a secure asset protection company in Locksbottom, Greater London who are seeking to recruit a Production Assitant
This is an exciting new position for a hard-working and enthusiastic operations/production professional with the desire to make a positive impact within a £2m+ turnover business, with strong growth prospects both in the UK and abroad.
You will report to the Operations Director and be responsible for:

- Designing and producing orders using laser machines
- Designing and producing orders using label printers
- Assembling and packing orders
- The maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Checking orders prior to shipping
- Booking couriers through courier’s software
- Postage and franking of mail
- Carrying out stock counts
- Notifying management of low stock levels
- Attending specialist shipping courses
- Adhering to all company policies and ISO standards
- Providing customer support (when needed)
You will need:

- A can-do attitude
- To possess an excellent work ethic
- To be detail specific, accurate and flexible in your approach
- To be punctual and not a clock watcher
- Self-motivation and drive
- A competitive streak to get things done in a quick efficient manner
- Good IT skills (MS outlook, excel, couriers online shipping systems, and programmes used for the printers and lasers as well as in house systems and databases)
- Clean driving licence (preferable)
Salary and Benefits:

- £19,200pa
- 8:30am-5:30pm (40 hours per week)
- 23 days holiday

The company is based in Locksbottom in Kent and is a short bus ride to Orpington and Bromley train stations.
