**Key Responsibilities**:

- Handle various financial transactions, including cash, cheques, BACS, and credit card payments, ensuring accurate processing in the accounting system.
- Timely allocation of credit notes and cash receipts to customer accounts.
- Efficient management of finance documents within internal systems.
- Daily reconciliation of transport sheets and management of trade counter paperwork.
- Respond to incoming calls and manage the accounts inbox.
- Assist with purchase ledger duties such as inbox management, matching, batching, and query resolution.
- Conduct daily banking activities and reconcile financial records.
- Process employee expense claims and reconcile supplier statements.
- Manage petty cash and handle monthly rebate credits.
- Undertake ad hoc duties as required, contributing to the smooth operation of the finance department.
