Trainee Die Cutter

**Position**: Trainee Die Cutter / Flexographic Printer

**Location**: Andover

**Salary**: £25,350 p.a

**Shift Pattern**: 38 hours per week - 06.00 to 14.00, 14.00 to 22.00 Monday to Friday.

**About the business**:
**Purpose of the role**:
You will work within a team at our manufacturing site in a growing business, developing a range of skills initially as a Trainee Machine Operator. As process skills are mastered, the hourly pay increases. Our main processes include flexographic printing, rotary die cutting, flat bed die cutting, bobst operator.

- Learning to operate manufacturing machinery that includes manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Being an active member of a small team striving to hit daily/weekly KPI targets.
- Ensuring that the products meet our high-quality standards.
- Ensuring your working environment is safe, clean and tidy.
- Following company health and safety procedures.

**Key skills and attributes of a Trainee Machine Operator**:

**Necessary skills of a Machine Operator**
- Prior experience operating machinery in a shift working manufacturing environment.
- Good IT skills.

**Preferred skills**
- Experience of batch manufacturing process management.
- Experience of die cutting, flexographic printing, gluing and stitching processes.
