**Job Purpose**

To work within the Slops Plant and operate the various equipment, as well as performing daily checks on the storage tanks as directed by the Fluids Supervisor. To take charge during the shift and delegate work to other fluids operators. All work shall be carried out to a high standard with regards to their own safety and that of others. To assist in all aspects of the job ensuring an efficient operation is maintained at the site and undertaking training as required.

There may also be a requirement to work in other areas as and when operations dictate.

**Key Responsibilities**

HSEQ:

- Ensure all health, safety and environmental issues connected with TWMA operations are adhered to.
- Observe and act according to TWMA HSEQ policies and procedures.
- Participate in TWMA observation card programs.
- Attend monthly safety meetings with HSEQ personnel.
- Visibly promote and champion TWMA’s stay safe rules.
- Liaise with the Fluids Supervisor to ensure the permit to work system where applicable is in use.
- Stop any work which puts any member of personnel in danger.
- Report any breaches of the safety management system to Fluids Supervisor.
- Report any accidents and incidents to Fluids Supervisor and participate in investigation as required.
- Be familiar with and adhere to environmental permit requirements for the process unit and associated equipment and systems in conjunction with Fluids Supervisor.

Centrifuge / Evaporator / Fluids Management:

- Perform daily checks on plant and storage tanks.
- Operate slops treatment and Evaporator equipment, ensuring that operational instructions are always followed as laid down in the operational procedures.
- Carry out tank balances and recording.
- Enter and clean out tanks.
- Accurate volume tracking and record keeping.

External Work - Undertake external work when required:

- Follow instructions from the site management as required.
- Manage out of hours work as required.
- Work at client sites when required.

Yard - Assist with essential yard duties when required:

- Load and back load all offshore containers.
- Operate the Forklift.
- Inspect and identify faults on any vehicle and record in daily checklist.
- Record operations and transportation details, as required by the company’s operation procedures.

Waste Handling Duties:

- Unload bulk tankers delivering slops onto site
- Interact with weighbridge operator.
- Visually inspect incoming waste.
- Record waste received.
- Unload and sort waste.

**Skills and Experience**

Qualifications and Training:

- Standard Grades and/or Equivalent (E)
- Basic Computer Skills (E)
- Forklift Certification (P)
- Confined Space Entry (P)

**Experience**:

- Ability to work well with staff at all levels (E)
- Mechanical aptitude (E)
- Working within the oil and gas or energy industries (P).
- Slops Treatment / Process (P).

Knowledge/ Skills/ Competencies:
