Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to work alongside our experienced team of educators. In this role, you will provide one-on-one and small group support to students with a range of special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals. You will collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create individualized support plans tailored to each student's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct support to students with special educational needs, both in the classroom and in specialized settings.
- Assist students with academic tasks, including reading, writing, and mathematics, adapting materials and activities as needed.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents, identifying areas for development and improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and behavior, ensuring confidentiality and GDPR compliance at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- A compassionate and patient approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the capacity to respond effectively to the diverse needs of students.
