Our Wellbeing Support Service is looking to employ a **Corporate Trainee** based at either Ely & Caerau Hub, Cowbridge Road West, Cardiff, or Radyr Hub, Park Rd, Radyr, Cardiff CF15 8DFYou may be required to work at other Hubs across the city for events and activities.

**The Community Hubs provide a face-to-face service to the citizens of Cardiff and a focus on community wellbeing. The Wellbeing Support service includes a Community Inclusion Team and a Volunteer Team who set up and deliver events, activities and groups within the Hubs that are open to all citizens of Cardiff. The aim is to reduce social isolation and enable citizens to become more engaged in their communities.**:
**About the job**
In this Corporate **Trainee** role you will support our service and will learn to work as part of a team to deliver a first class service. You will develop general office administration skills for example, using word and excel, answering telephones, using IT daily, helping customers with their enquiries and developing excellent customer service skills. You will assist in setting up and the running of community events and groups.

Full training will be provided by our Team who will help and encourage you to develop in the role and you will be encouraged to take on a variety of duties. You will receive supervision and on the job training and will have a named mentor to support you to deliver an efficient and effective service in a positive, customer-focused manner.

The Corporate Apprentice & Trainee Scheme also provides opportunities to enhance your transferrable skills to help support your career progression.

Many of our teams have moved to online and homeworking and you will be encouraged to develop the skills to support this. Where homeworking is required, you will be given the necessary equipment however, you will need to arrange your own internet connectivity (some support may be available to help with this).

Some evening and weekend work may be required.

This post is temporary for 6 months if worked full time, or longer if worked part time. Most roles are based on a 37 hour week although many roles can be worked on a part time basis.
