Assistant to Head Brewer

We are looking to recruit a Brewery Assistant, working directly with our Head Brewer.

This is a varied role and interesting role which we hope will lead to the right applicant achieving the position of 2nd Brewer in their own right.

The current job description includes:

- Cleaning and filling casks
- Cleaning of Brewing Equipment in the brewery to a high standard
- Filling Casks
- Stock and warehouse management
- Quality control
- Bright transfers
- Helping prepare for a brew under guidance
- Helping to brew under guidance once ready
- Loading and unloading of deliveries
- Dealing with retail and trade collections
- Potential for dray work

**Job Type**: Full Time, minimum 40hrs

This is a physical job that requires heavy lifting, so applicants must be fit, strong and hardworking.

A love of beer is also important as quality control is a key part of the role.

Applicants must have a driving license as some deliveries will be inevitable.

**Salary**: £10.42-£11.45 per hour
