Founded nearly 30 years ago, the Rooflight Company is a successful, employee-owned Gloucestershire based business with over 50 employees, designing and manufacturing rooflights and roof windows for the UK construction / specification market.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Supervisor to join this successful, growing, values-led, customer-focused organisation. We are looking for a person who can handle the challenges of a busy Warehouse, with high levels of accuracy and the drive to implement continuous improvement, raised efficiency and cost saving in partnership with the Production & Warehouse Manager. You will have exceptional customer service skills with high levels of commercial awareness and the ability to actively promote and take responsibility for team engagement in line with our culture and values.

It is a busy role which requires someone with excellent organisation skills, attention to detail, proactivity and the ability to work to set processes.

**THE ROLE AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Responsible for a well organised and compliant warehouse with very high standards of housekeeping
- Right first-time supply to internal and external customers
- Timely completion of the teams monthly 1:1’s, performance reviews and development activities
- Accurate input of data into the ERP system
- Working within ISO policies
- Work as part of a high-performing team who demonstrate commitment to our culture and values
- Take responsibility to drive team engagement in line with our way forward strategy
- Always ensure expectations are exceeded, placing the customer at the heart of everything we do
- Pro-actively demonstrate and encourage continual improvement and change through improved efficiencies & cost improvements whilst maintaining high service levels
- A team focus on delivering high quality output in line with our performance metrics through efficient and effective standard operating procedure and processes
- Promote team flexibility through skills training and development
- Implementation and execution of FIFO system

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**

Required - GCSE / A Level English and GCSE Maths grades A-C

Required - Full UK driving licence

Desired - Warehouse experience

Required - Experience of leading a high performing team

Required - IT literate, able to implement solutions that use IT to improve efficiency and be able to support new system introduction

Desired - Knowledge of ERP systems (we use Epicor)

Required
- Excellent customer service skills supported by good commercial understanding

- Excellent communication skills including written and active listening as well as verbal

- Resilient, adaptable and able to embrace the demands of a fast-paced and changing set of priorities.
