Psychological Therapist

This is an exciting opportunity to join a community team and develop innovative approaches to providing mental health care within the community. You will be part of the Haywards Heath Primary Care Network (PCN) multidisciplinary team to empower people with long-term health conditions to improve their quality of life and prevent hospital admission.

PCN Psychological Therapists work within a primary care setting and are part of a small team of psychological practitioners within the wider West Sussex PCNs. You will be working alongside social workers and prescribers, community nurses and mental health nurses to provide holistic and integrated approach to care using a variety of therapy models. The role involves seeing patients in Haywards Heath area so having a car is essential. We also have a hybrid pool car to share within our team for home visits.

Psychologically informed practice is embedded and encouraged in our service; providing reflective practice sessions, contributing to case discussions and consultations, carrying out assessments are essential aspects of the role. You will receive regular individual supervision, peer supervision, meetings with other members of the active Trust allied psychology forum and access to CPD opportunities throughout the year.
