Adecco Northumberland are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant for their client based in Northumberland.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in managing financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial accuracy.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking.
- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare financial reports.
- Participate in financial audits and assist in compliance with regulations.
- Provide support to the finance team as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong analytic skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Prior experience in finance or accounting is a plus.
