Manpower is recruiting on behalf of our client who is one of Northern Europe's leading shipping and logistics company, providing shipping and transport services in Europe. Our client is an established organisation that has been added to the CILT top 30 LogisticsProviders List.
We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder who is able to commute to the office in Immingham 2 days a week as this is a hybrid role.
**Duties**:

- Responsibility of developing freight forwarding activities between the UK and Europe
- Dealing with quotations, bookings and general enquires from both customers and third-party hauliers
- Monitor and manage quotations and profitability of freight rates with both clients and subcontractors
- Liaise with subcontractors to arrange carriage of goods

**Skills**:

- Minimum 2 years experience within International Freight Forwarding/ Logistics industry
- Able to communicate effectively with both clients and subcontractors
- Basic customs knowledge
- Knowledge of European road freight
- Operational experience of all modes of transport is advantageous
