**The Job Role of Compound Driver**

Working as a compound driver is different every day with the role supporting the discharge and distribution of cars.

Duties Include:

- Driving Cars for the port to compound
- Driving Cars to allocated compound area and driving ready for collection
- Checking documentation
- Inspecting cars for damage
- Supporting PDI with the pre-sale checks of batteries, accessories etc
- Ensuring site rules and H&S are adhered to at all times
- Monday to Friday 06:00 - 18:00 with **premiums** available for weekend work

**What Experience do you need to be a Compound Driver?**

Whilst there is a criteria for holding a Full UK driving licence for a minimum 12 months a good attitude and ability to work in a team is the most important criteria
- Full UK Driving Licence held for 12 months
- No more than 9 points
- Previous experience in a driving role is highly desriable but not essential e.g. Take away driver, Taxi Driver, Delivery Driver, Car Driver, Van Driver, Compound driver, Port Operative
- Team player with a flexible approach to work
- H&S conscious at all times

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £11.00-£22.00 per hour
