sia Abrasives Ltd (part of the Bosch Power Tools/Accessories Division) is an innovative manufacturer of non-woven and foam abrasive products as well as a distributer in the UK of coated abrasives. The sites in Greetland, West Yorkshire and Alfreton, Derbyshire, have a wealth of experience in the manufacture and development of abrasive products, ideally complementing sia Abrasives’ systems solutions.

**Job Description**:

- Able to operate speedy, effective and accurate order processing and order entry in accordance with established procedures.
- Organise and manage own workload, including prioritisation, within established guidelines.
- Develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers, enhancing own performance and contributing to the development of others.
- Provide effective cover for the other members of the department as required in order to meet business needs.
- Recommend improvements in procedures, work practices and equipment which will enhance the department.
- Advise customers of prices and discounts in accordance with the current price list, current promotions and trade agreements.
- Recommend solutions to problems and queries generated by both internal and external customers within your sphere of expertise.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum education requirement GCSE Maths and English (Pass grade) or equivalent relevant experience
- Customer service skills ideally gained in a similar customer care background
- Team player encompassing initiative to be able to work individually
- Able to accept “change” and work flexibly to high standards
- Able to take ownership, be responsible, caring and conscientious
- Computer literate, knowledge of MS Axapta an advantage
- Customer focused (internal and external) with excellent telephone skills
- Excellent time management skills, including accuracy and punctuality
